This lightweight TI handle provides better rigidity compared to the stock handle. Due to the aggressive pocketing, the knife weighs under 3oz providing a good balance between weight and strength. This scale is blasted to provide better traction.

- Required backspacer with newer model: 535-1901+

- All blasted scales are finished with oil-based PTFE to help reduce fingerprints and scratches.

Made out of grade 5 titanium, knife and hardware not included. Please allow 3-5 business days to process. Please message me for left-hand carry.

Titanium Scales for Benchmade Bugout 535 - No Lanyard

Simply amazing

These scales are exactly what I wanted. They add a little weight to the knife which is what I wanted and accompanied by their bronze ano screws and back spaced make this a gorgeous knife. Thanks for the amazing work

Exceeded expectations

I wanted to get my perfect pocketknife. High quality materials with a minimalist design. I was attracted to the sebenza, but after owning a 940, nothing beats the axis lock. So after reaching out to another aftermarket company for lanyard hole-less bugout scales, and being denied, due to their outsourcing of large orders to China, I hit up Rockscale. Without properly checking their inventory, I sent an email asking if it would be possible to custom order scales without a lanyard hole. I immediately received a personalized email back letting me know that the exact scales I desired would be in stock the next day. I proceeded to order them, and received my package in less than a week. I have to admit, the packaging probably put me in an optimistic mood, with the foam inserts being laser cut around my specific parts. But I was genuinely impressed with the result. My oldest brother actually used to work for benchmade, but to try and showcase my masculinity, I was determined to install them myself. Aside from wondering washers, shoving the torx driver through the pivot hole makes the process relatively pain free. I was a little bit nervous about the finish, as I used to have a griptilian, and as great as the texture felt in hand, it did tend to chew up my jeans pretty quickly. I don’t know how to describe what they have done here, but it's almost like a smooth grip tape if that makes any sense. It is both satisfying and secure to hold in hand, while simultaneously being smooth and friction-less while taking in and out of pocket. My scales had no flash or unfinished edges and look absolutely bitchin. I custom ordered a bugout for this project so it has satin screws, blade and pocket clip, and along with the titanium scales, it really is the absolute perfect pocket knife. It definitely gave me a smug look on my face when I handed my older brother my knife and asked him ‘what do ya think’. Like I replied to Matt when we initially spoke, the hesitation I had about spending the money, was completely nullified by the experience I had receiving the product.

I couldn't improve them if I tried

I got the Aluminum Blast titanium scales and the matching gear spacer for my Benchmade Bugout. Honestly, it's how the knife should have come from Benchmade. The quality of these scales and the overall attention to detail make them hard to beat. While they are expensive relative to the knife itself, I now have something that I'm confident will last more than my lifetime.
