It took me a little (as in having to reach out) to figure out that these scales make the non-locking liner obsolete. These scales are incredible. They are a fantastic upgrade for my Mili 2. The blasted finish gives a good anti-slip finish without making it so aggressive that it tears up my pocket. I love the look of these with the added backspacer and 2 part Lynch NW clip I also added.
Arrived quickly, easy installation.
Look and feel great.
Perfect fit …. And on sale…. No brainer
I purchased a set of the half liner delete titanium critter scales along with a geared backspacer and tanto clip for my Military 2. I’ve tried a variety of scales from different makers, mostly for various Spyderco knives and, hands down, these are the highest quality set out of all of them. The action and centering is perfect and there’s not a single flaw to be found. They look great, provide excellent grip, and don’t add too much weight, even with the titanium backspacer installed. I wish I could afford a set for each knife model they offer. They’re a bit pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion. It took my ~$200 cheap-ish feeling G10 Spyderco to a ~$400 rugged, refined, and interesting knife with fit and finish rivaling knives that cost nearly twice as much.
These scales are absolutely flawless and the finish with blurple over bronze is very unique. I bought a new knife just to have something to put these works of art on.
