Titanium Hexi Scales for Demko AD20/S - Liner Removed
The Demko AD20/S linerless scales feature a fully recessed lock groove, which enhances comfort when deploying or disengaging the shark lock. Thanks to deep milling, the knife weighs about 6.3 oz thin, 7 oz thick, and measures 0.52 inches thick for the thin version, and .59 inches for the thick version.
Note & Installation:
- Thin scales are 0.155 inches thick. Thick scales are 0.195 inches thick.
- AD20S with the thin scale option requires screw set.
- Due to the thinner scales, the pivot pin will be exposed on both sides.
- Longer screws are to be used on the pocket clip side.
- Includes two stainless steel washers that should be placed between each scale and the ball bearing washers, but not between the blade and the ball bearing washers.
- The Pivot Pin should be installed on the show side, which is the left-hand clip mount side, initially.
- The pins have solid and dashed markings on each end. Place the solid ends together on the show side of the scale first.
- Knife and hardware not included.
- All the blasted scales are coated with oil-based PTFE to minimize fingerprints and scratches.
- Made out of grade 5 titanium.

I purchased a set of scales, a backspacer, and a screw set from Matt, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The machining, finish, and attention to detail are absolutely top-tier. Everything fits perfectly and completely transformed the look and feel of my Demko AD20S.

Gives solid heft, on the AD20s the thick scale set makes the blade look so thin but gives great ergonomics and acoustics! 10/10
Very happy! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is my stop pin was rattling when the knife was closed after installation. Putting a smear of grease on it fixed the issue though. Not a huge deal, just wish the hole in the scales was a teeny bit smaller.
