Titanium Scales for Shark Cub - Liner Removed

The scales feature a fully recessed lock groove to enhance comfort when deploying and disengaging the shark lock. Thanks to the deep milling of the scales, the knife weighs less than 3oz. 

Note:

- Comes with two stainless steel washers, which should be positioned between each scale and the ball bearing washers (not between the blade and the ball bearing washers).

- Pivot Pin must be installed on the show side (left-hand clip mount side) first.

- Stop and lock pins have solid and lines markings on each end. Place the solid ends together on show side of the scales first.

- Lightly brushed with aluminum blasted textured.

- Knife and hardware not included.

- All blasted scales are finished with oil-based PTFE to help reduce fingerprints and scratches.

- Made out of grade 5 titanium

Scales Improve Shark Lock Action / Look Great!

The fit and finish of these Shark-Cub Critter scales is impressive! The most notable improvement is that the notched area right in front of the Shark Lock is slightly longer than the original factory scales. The slightly larger space gives my finger just the right amount finger tip space to disengage the locking mechanism. While it doesn’t appear visually to be a big change. It drastically makes it much more easy and comfortable to my finger tip when operating the lock bar. Before I replaced the factory aluminum scales with these I was considering not carrying the Shark-Cub as my daily carry. With these new scales it’s back as my EDC!

Transformed the Shark Cub

These scales make a huge difference on the Shark Cub. I sold the first Cub I bought because I didn't like the slimmed down lock and had trouble operating it with my fat fingers. After buying Rockscale scales for my 20.5, I realized that the larger lock access would be great on the Cub too. I ordered a new Cub and these scales for it and I love it. The lock cutout definitely makes a huge difference. The ergonomics are great, and I really like the titanium with the patterns. I highly recommend these scales as well as the company - great people to deal with.

Great fit and quality

In addition to the great fit and quality, I received my order in less than a week. With the included washers, it took some adjustment to make sure the pivot seated properly and the blade was centered, but once done it now looks and feels great. I like the slim feel that matches the original factory scales.
