Honestly I waited a long time to get the hexi version Jimbo scales and let me tell you it was worth it on every level. The quality feel the knife know has combined with a better action which its already by far the best all around action spyderco I've ever had even before the scale upgrade. This tolerance seems to make it feel slightly tighter which at first I thought there might be a problem but then I remembered other knives I've changed scales on before and there always seems to be minor differences in the action either slightly stiffening the detent or the opposite lucky for me they usual seem stiffer and on the Jimbo it now can fail with the amount of resistance it has but that's only if you dont push through in one solid motion. When you do it right. It fires harder than any other knife I own and feels so satisfying for a spyderco which only the shaman honestly does it for me other than this knife and now with these scales I prefer it over the shaman that is upgraded to fat carbon black dunes which I really liked but this titanium pattern just makes the knife for me. I'm hoping the shaman will be in the cards soon cuz I will toss that carbon fiber in a heart beat for a set of hexi shaman scales. I no a guy who makes them but I'd much rather support Rockscale as hes a great guy with reasonable prices for the ammount of work that goes into the added milling pattern . If you have a choice between rockscale and another always go rockscale. He actually takes time to eliminate liners on the Manix instead of just taking the easy route. All we need now is to convince him to do zirc scales for those of us who like that even more premium feel as I'd buy those immediately even though I already bought titanium but thats not a huge deal cuz for now I'm in love with these and I carry this knife now way more than knives costing twice as much cuz it feels that premium .
